I have a 7 piece set of mixing bowls that are marked fiesta. The biggest bowl is green then orange, blue,ivory, yellow, ivory and then orange. Kitchen Kraft – Kitchen Kraft was an extension of the popular Fiesta line made by Homer Laughlin. It was advertised as Fiesta Kitchen Kraft when it was introduced in 1939. This line of bake and serve dinnerware was made in the original Fiesta colors of cobalt blue, light green, red, and yellow introduced in 1939.

As for the price this is just a estimated value. With all prices guides they go out of date rather quickly. There are many factors in the value of an item including condition of the market, where it is being sold, the condition of the item, and its demand vs availability. Harlequin was never marked, except for its 1979 reissue. So in order to identify a Harlequin piece, one must compare weight, size and colors.

Homer Laughlin introduced Fiesta, designed by Rhead, in 1936, phasing out the line in 1973. New colors were used, and pieces were dishwasher safe and microwavable. Harlequin arrived on the scene in 1938, and a less expensive alternative to Fiesta was made and sold in Woolworth’s. It has a distinctive triple scalloped edge. Riviera production ended near the end of 1948 or early 1949.

This confusion is compounded because the name Virginia Rose appears in the mark on many of these pieces. I have an 11 place setting fiesta ware in the rose color.
